Conclusion

Although the cure for Multiple Sclerosis is yet to be found, there is still hope in slowing down the progress of the disease and manage the symptoms. In patients with Multiple Sclerosis, persistent inactivity is rather common, however it can worsen the disease symptoms and consequently decrease their overall quality of life. Exercise helps these individuals to take some control over the course of their condition and strengthen their bodies to maintain as much physical function as possible. Research has revealed that contrary to the past beliefs that exercise increases fatuge in MS patients, evercise may actually relieve some fatigue and serve as motivator. It is crucial to be mindful considerations for individuals with MS during exercise and begin at a low level of physical exertion and slowly progress. Overall with the proper supervision and adherence to recommended exercise guidelines the patients may greatly benefit from being physically active.
